Delta Nu Alpha National Transportation Fraternity
Delta Nu Alpha National Transportation Fraternity, Inc. is an national organization. The Fraternity was initially formed in 1947 and committed to the advancement of logistics and transportation professionals through collegiate education. In the early days institutions of higher education applied for Delta Nu Alpha Fraternity membership and those accredited became Chapters. Chapters were specific to the sponsoring university’s locale. Each Chapter elected its own officers and chose educational areas specific to the sponsoring university. The leadership of the national organization shut down operations in the summer of 2022 stating Chapters were not aligned with national programs. The existing Chapters were given the opportunity to continue operating under their existing Chapter and were grandfathered.
Fast forward to the Fall of 2023 when new experienced and highly motivated association leadership announced the launch of the new Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Fraternity, Inc. and Chartered in the State of Florida with National headquarters located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Members are professionals engaged in all aspects of transportation with both large and small companies nationwide. Our members are with shippers, receivers, logistics companies, truck, air, ocean and rail carriers. Transportation brokers and warehousing and legal services are also eligible for membership.
Delta Nu Alpha Fraternity membership brings transportation professionals together nationally and provides a platform to discuss current transportation matters of interest to all as well as providing educational and networking opportunities.
